Anne Rearick

Anne Rearick, an award winning artist-documentary photographer has explored such diverse cultures as: the French Basque country, rural Scotland, Italy and Spain, amateur boxing, village life in Kazakhstan, post-Apartheid South Africa, and contemporary Native American life of the Nez Perce tribe in northern Idaho.

She has been the recipient of both Guggenheim and Fulbright fellowships, and the European Mosaique Prize and Mass Cultural Council Artist Grants among others.

Her photographs are housed in public and private collections, including the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, the Centre National de L'Audiovisuel in Luxembourg, and the Southwest Museum of Photography in Florida. In 2003, Editions Atlantica published a monograph of Rearick's work from the Basque Country. Rearick is represented by Agence VU, Paris.

Anne was born in Boise, Idaho and currently resides in Gloucester, MA.
